I started this on openCanvas, risking using a version past trial expiry. Then halfway through it refused to save the file! Luckily, printing worked. So printed, scanned, and finished (quite messily; the effect of the blur tool is too prominent) this on GIMP.
Alright, admitted this wasn’t what she was wearing.
(Well, this was inspired by the girl on the Chennai Mail … so those of you who were there, should remember her. Of course, she doesn’t look anything like her. I just kept observing the way she sat. In the end, this is my own girl
)
I asked her to lie face down… she did. However it turned out to be hard to sketch her the way I wanted. What I actually wanted was her picture in the above position, but at a camera angle as shown below:
Now, I tried putting her in those intermediate positions to get the final picture. I just couldn’t get it done. This was quite a while ago. I’ll try her again.
